Comment: Traveling and singing as one of (The Spurrlow's)was one of the best and worst times of my life. Ha Ha - It was fun and very hard at the same time. I miss everyone I traveled with. I hope to reconnect with old friends. Look for me on MySpace, FaithFreaks or ShoutLife. My new CD (The Solid Rock) is now availabe at CdBaby or for Mp3's look for me on iTunes. God bless! Comment: Thurlow,
When I found out about your website, one thought shot through my mind...He's still alive?! :)
Nah, you look great! I couldn't believe the wave of memories that overtook me once I clicked through the alumni pages...And I had yet another thought. What a great tribute to how many lives you've touched through all your incredible number of years! I remember that I was so young and so green at the time and had so much more energy than I do now when I traveled with the (real) Spurrlows, and you had so much dark hair! Now you're staying scriptural with your hoary head, and I'm in bifocals! But through it all, well, here we are. And the chapter of my life that you had a part in is one of my most memorable and important to me in so many ways. The travel and adventure was great and still fodder for many of my war stories, but mostly in the friends that I made on the road are still important to me. We were, as we used to sing, FAMILY, and still keep in touch with many to this day. God bless you and keep you as we all continue on the path that He has for us.

Oh, by the way, can you send a copy of my tax returns for those years? I still have friends that don't believe I used to work for $66.00 a week... :)

To see it all put together here brngs back a flood of memories and unending praise to the Lord for such an extraordinary ministry. My love to the Spurr family!

Comment: Great Job KG!!! The site is awesome. After I was able to view all aspects of the website I had to sign the guest book and let you know just how wonderful it really is...even though I expected it especially if Thurlow had his name on.
I sat and reminisced as I listened to all the great tunes I was privileged to be a part of while in The Spurrlows. Those days, on the road, were the hi-lite of my life.
Again, great job and God bless. Hugs and kisses to all especially MM.

Comment: Glad to see the new web site. Looks great! Enjoyed looking at the pics under the Alumni Connection but was sorry to see no pics of two other former Sweetwater artists I played bass for: Karen Harris Wheaton and Marvin Matthews (I also played bass with the FOP Spurrlows when the Jesus musical was released). Hope to see more photos added! It would also be great to find a way to find a way to reconnect the alumni of some of these groups. I remember those early years on the road fondly - I learned a lot and met many wonderful people. Thanks, Thurlow, for all you have done!

Comment: Love the website!!! As a former Common Grounder it brings back wonderful memories, as I'm sure it will to all who visit this website. And it's wonderful to hear the songs as we're browsing! Great job!
